Literacy through Digital Media (LDM)

The goal of Literacy Through Digital Media is to improve the academic outcomes of Native Hawaiian youth in Hawaiʻi’s elementary schools.  This will be accomplished through introducing computer technology to 3rd grade students and utilizing DOE kupuna to enhance the reading experience of students by sharing local and Native Hawaiian stories during their weekly kupuna class.
