First Step to Success Hawaiʻi

First Step to Success Hawaii

The First Step Project is a class and home-based intervention designed to get young children with mild behavior problems off to a successful start in school by teaching them to: follow directions, complete school tasks, and get along with others. The goal of the program was to improve a target student’s social adjustment and academic performance by enlisting the three most important relationships in his or her life: families, teachers, and peers.
