January 14: Pacific Alliance High School Winter Institute at UH Manoa

The Winter Institute is open to 11th and 12th grade high school students with disabilities. The purpose of the Winter Institute is to help you explore some options in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) fields and careers through career inventory, meeting STEM field mentors, and exploring STEM careers through Second Life. Applicants who are admitted, attend all activities, and complete the Winter Institute booklet and necessary forms (such as the WH-1), will receive a stipend in the amount of $100. Volunteer at the Pacific Aviation Museum Pearl Harbor

Interested in aviation? The Pacific Aviation Museum has volunteer opportunities in the following areas: Education Program, Guided Tours, Greeters and Theater Operations, Curatorial and Exhibits, Oral History Documentation, Membership, Special Events and Fund-Raising, Aircraft Preparation & Restoration, Cactus Air Force Flight Simulator Operations, Marketing/E Marketing, and Education Flight Lab. Please contact Volunteer Coordinator for more information and a volunteer application at 808-441-1008. Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age or partnered with a parent.
