Vision
We envision healthy children in Asia-Pacific and the United States
Mission
- Improve child health through cross-cultural exchanges in early childhood development with leaders in East Asia and USA
- Act as a catalyst in building and strengthening inter-professional Early Childhood Development networks and activities with primary care within participating countries
Goal
The goal is to expand the vision of integrated services by improving ECD and primary care through convening Early Child Development in Primary Care network.
Objectives
- Objective 1: Identify and prioritize key scientific knowledge related to early child development applicable to cross-cultural exchange.
- Objective 2: Recognize the influence of culture on the principles of child development and the delivery of care.
- Objective 3: Deepen interactions within a network of country specific leaders for ongoing exchange and outreach.
Anticipated Outcomes
Improved inter-professional integration of services, training, research, and advocacy on early child development and primary care in China (Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong SAR), Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and the United States.
