CDS Receives Grant from the Department of Human Services (DHS)

The Center on Disability Studies has received a first year grant of approximately $200,000 to assist with the implementation, planning and evaluation of the Money Follows the Person grant from the Centers for Medicaid and Medicare. The local grant, titled “Going Home Plus” is a twelve million dollar, five year grant to support people currently living in institutions to move back into their home communities with appropriate supports. Madi Silverman (msilverman@medicaid.dhs.state.hi.us) is the Project Director for the Going Home Plus Project.
