Project Ho‘omohala provides a positive and encouraging environment to empower the youth to achieve their hopes and dreams by making good life choices while providing them with strong and caring guidance.

Project Ho‘omohala focuses on encouraging personal growth, appreciating diversity, fostering positive values, and respecting each other.

Youth

Project Ho‘omohala is a youth-guided program. We will help you put your hopes and dreams into a course of action. We believe that if you take positive responsibility for yourself, you have the power to achieve great things! We will support you in helping you achieve your dreams through education, employment, and your own personal development.

How is it done?

Project Ho‘omohala works with you to design a personalized transition plan of action to help you in education, employment, career development, plus provide you with new experiences and activities that will empower you to help you to be successful in life!

Project Ho‘omohala Transition Specialists that will support and guide you as you chart out a personal path to help you define your hopes and dreams. Youth Coordinators and Peer Mentors will also assist in providing cool activities to have fun as you build your life skills and expand your life through meaningful opportunities!

Project Ho‘omohala’s Values

Raising a teen can be very challenging, especially as they transition into adulthood! When you have a youth that is experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges, your family may need help and support.

At Project Ho‘omohala, we can help. Project Ho‘omohala believes that families and caregivers are the foundation for providing real guidance for your transition age youth. Working with families and caregivers as full partners is the collaborative spirit of the program to bring about positive changes for your youth.

Project Ho‘omohala will provide a full range of services to help families and caregivers to advocate develop solutions, including resources, support groups, coping tools for the family, including a support partner that understands what you’re going through. Project Ho‘omohala is a safe environment and its main goal is to empower your youth as they transition into adulthood so they can be independent, productive, caring and active participants in our community.
