Hawai‘i Paraprofessional Training Institute (HI PTI)

The goal of the Hawai‘i Paraprofessional Training Institute is to train and certify 125 skilled paraprofessionals per year entering the Hawaiʻi Department of Education (HIDOE) workforce. The outcomes of the project are: increased entry/enrollment into training program; and increased rates of certificated candidates entering HIDOE employment.
